Hans hutzl has rendered great service to the kronach fire department

On sunday, hans hutzl reached the age of 80. Year of his life. The socially very committed jubilarian has rendered great services in many ways, especially to the kronach fire department.

Hans hutzl was born in temerin in the former yugoslavia. The family had to flee in the fall of 1944. After two stopovers in hammelburg and the fichtelgebirge, he came to kronach in september 1945 with his mother, sister and grandparents. At that time the family was quartered in the fortress. Here the now 80-year-old also spent his childhood and youth, until he moved with his mother and sister to his own home on the kreuzberg in march 1966.

He began an apprenticeship as a carpenter at the age of 14. He passed his journeyman’s examination and worked in this profession until 1990. During this period, he was a member of the examination committee of the carpenters’ guild for 25 years. In 1991, he joined the district office in kronach as a janitor and deputy driver. He conscientiously carried out these activities until his well-deserved retirement.

The jubilarian, who enjoys great esteem, is strongly committed to the community, whereby he has rendered outstanding services to the kronach fire brigade in particular. He joined the then compulsory fire department as early as 1959 and then transferred to the volunteer fire department in kronach, to which he has now belonged for 60 years. Among other things, he was deputy commander and, as youth leader, trained young comrades. In march 2010, he was made an honorary member of the kronach fire department on account of his outstanding service to the fire department.

"His" fire department seniors

He has shown his organizational talent for the past twelve years in the leadership of the senior firefighters’ group. He organizes and conducts the extensive program of monthly meetings together with his wife mathilde.

He has been a member of the catholic workers’ movement (KAB) for decades and was its vice chairman for several years. He has also been a member of the CSU for many years. His daily routine includes a walk to the kreuzberg and reading the daily newspaper. Hans hutzl has been married to mathilde, nee popp, since 1967. From their marriage came the two children karin and michael. In the meantime, the much younger-looking jubilarian is also the proud grandfather of five grandchildren.

His family naturally wished him all the best for his honorary day as well as "his" family fire department seniors, who came in large numbers and offered him a musical serenade. In addition to relatives, neighbors, former colleagues and friends, representatives of the fire department and the KAB also congratulated the much-loved jubilarian. The congratulations of the CSU were expressed by the second mayor of kronach, angela hofmann, and by the parish of st. John the pastoral counselor sarah maria rock-damschen. They all wished him many more fulfilling years in good health.
